Teacher mamas who pump?

Question

I'm a FTM due in October and assuming all goes well I'll be pumping when I go back to work. I ordered a Spectra S2 through insurance but it doesn't have a carrying bag. What do you use as a school bag? Do you keep your pumping stuff with it or in a separate bag? I have a fridge/freezer in my classroom so I don't necessarily need an insulated bag. (We have tax free holiday in a few days, so I figured I'd buy something now if I knew what I wanted. ☺)

I found the space for pumping at work ridiculously inadequate. I ended up buying the Freemie cups so I could pump at my desk (no kids in the room) and get work done! It's worth looking into.

This is what I use. I put my pump in the side pockets. It's definitely a challenge to pump when you're a teacher. Good luck!

I'm also facing this problem. I'm a teacher and due on November 7th. I'll return to work when my daughter is around 5 months old so therefore, I'll need to pump for a little while. I have the Spectra s1, it didn't come with a bag either. Although I thought it was gonna come with one. I found a couple online that I'm gonna order. I have a refrigerator in my class also but my husband and I are still gonna purchase insulated bags.

I have no advice since I stayed home from teaching after my son was born, but props to you. I can't even imagine how I would have pumped while at school! I am super impressed by women who pump full time at any job especially teaching. I wish you the best! :D

I'm a former teacher, but I didn't have kids while I worked. That being said, most of my coworkers just used a regular tote bag (preferably one with a zipper) to carry their pump around so that it wasn't obvious. I have the Spectra as well, and luckily it's a relatively small, lightweight pump, so you won't need a huge tote. We all had mini fridges in our rooms as well, but most of my friends brought insulated cooler bags anyway so they could keep the milk cool during their commute home.

I'm a teacher and I have the medella pump that came with a separate bag. You can go on Amazon and google actual bags made for the pump and parts, or just get a separate purse. I like the specialize pump bags bc nothing else goes in mine besides pump parts, my small cooler and a battery pack (for if I have to pump in the car for some reason). I have a refrigerator also but it's good to have a cooler for the car rides and if I have meetings after work.
It takes a lot of heart to pump during every break you get, but it works and I'm going back in September pumping for 10 months!
