Constant communication to silence.

Hello all. So I'm a bit confused in the situation I'm in.

I spent a year living out of state where I tried my hand at dating via online and apps. There was one person who I seemed to click with but never really made the time to get to know eachother. (Work, school etc.) I moved out of state and him and I had eachother on social media and kept in touch.

In the past month we spent a lot of time getting to know eachother via phone calls and texts. We talked about how well we were clicking, how it was all happening so fast and how it was unfortunate we never connected while we were in the same zone. I brought up the topic of it being crazy and he agreed but that he wanted to go with it. I brought up in conversation that I was going to be back in town he offered to pick me up from the airport and also asked me to go to his tournament that monring and to be his date to his high school best friends wedding. Mind you this is the FIRST time we had ever really spent time with eachother. We had a great time and we sang to John Legend the whole way home. We epnt long hours talking about how this had worked so well and that he wanted more days like these. Even said he would miss me while I was back home. (Either this guy really is interested or he's a master manipulator)

He has a trip planned to visit a friend in a nearby city and did say he wanted to see me and have me show him around. But now that I am back home communication has just really dwindeled down. So now I'm wondering if the interest is gone, is he avoiding getting close because of distance, am I just being crazy/needy? Did he just want sex? I really don't know and I can't seem to get out of my head about it.
