Should I try testing again?

So this is our first month ttc. We already have a 3 year old daughter so this will be baby #2 and our first attempt at ttc as we weren't trying with our first. Af is due August 5th and today (aug 1st) I tried to test and got a bfn. My question is should I try testing again closer to the 5th or give up and wait for a couple missed period days? It's so hard waiting! And I feel like there's a crazy faint line but I know I'm just tripping :(

Don't use blue dye tests use pink dye, blue can play tricks on your eyes

When I tested with blue dye I hated to hear "blue dye tests give false positives," however, there is validity to that statement. I got a line with blue dye, and AF showed up 3 days later. I did multiple pink dyes and they all came out negative. I hate to say the thing you don't want to hear, but blue dye isn't reliable. Especially before a missed period. Good luck!!

I'm not seeing anything. I didn't get my super very faint long until 3 days before my missed period. I'd wait a couple days and retest with a pink dye test.
