Maternity leave got shortened

Brittany • Mommy to a wonderful 12yr old boy, 9yr old boy 7yr old girl 6yr old girl and 3yr old girl. Due March 11th 2023 with a boy.
My work just renegotiate their ins and short term disability and it got taken from 26 weeks of 60% pay to 8weeks at 50% pay. Which means I'll only get paid for 8 of the 12weekd alloted :-( the U.S. Is awful for maternity leave.
