LO has Torticollis. How can I help it improve?

My 2 month old son was diagnosed in Torticollis at the pediatrician yesterday and he is developing a flat side on the right side of his head (it's the side he favors). What worked for you? My doctor recommended encouraging him to look to his left and tilt his head to the left when sleeping, but I was wondering about other ways to help him.

My 5 month old has it. I was given a couple of neck stretches for him to do, supposed to have a therapist coming in every week (haven't started yet), and we have an appointment to get a helmet for his flat head. The most important thing (at least for him) was lots of tummy time, which I've been gradually increasing because he used to hate it.

I would gently roll his hips and keep turning him the opposite way. Gently work his hips the opposite as well.

My son had that and he went to physical therapy for about a year! It helped a lot but I wish they would have given us the helmet that helps shape the head back to normal. He's five now and it's not horrible but he definitely has a funky shaped head lol
