Is anyone else terrified of any kind of birth control that goes into your body?... I mean, like IUD's, or even the shot. I've heard too many things about them so I take pills.

I won't go near the implant or shot because the side effects are too risky for my liking. Plus I hate needles and having something put under my skin just freaks me out. But the IUD I'd like to try. I've considered it and almost went with it. I've heard a lot of positives about the IUD and the side effects can be less risky than even the pill depending on which IUD to pick. But, I'm on a pill that makes my periods manageable so I don't want to mess with that so I'm putting off the IUD

Nah I got the implant. I'm more scared of pills because I know myself, I'd constantly be stressing that since I took my pill at 7:12 instead of 7:00 that I could get pregnant. 
Besides it's a cool party trick to let people feel it in my arm ! Kinda cool anyways.

I have nexplanon and I'm always grossed out whenever I feel it and I'm so skinny that I actually see it bulge out of my skin 😭

I am. I try to avoid anything invasive if neccesary. I'm not on BC now but when I  go back, it'll be the pill.

I'd never ever ever get the implant but I've gotten the depo shot and it was one of the worst decisions ever. I bled for 3 months straight. I was on the patch for awhile too and that gave me terrible headaches. Pills never did me wrong!

I'm on nuvaring. Definitely not scary and you can barely feel it there. I actually couldn't feel it at all after having it in for just a little while.
