Cracked nipple help!

Any advice on how to help heal my sad cracked nipple? My girls a week old and we got her to latch as soon as she was put to breast. My only problem is my left nipple is inverted so she never would latch. The LC at our hospital came in finally and brought me a shield and that helped it. But by the time she got to me and we got her used to using the shield my right nipple has got really abused😂 I'm still nursing on both sides but I dread nursing my right.
