I had two children literally back to back, there due dates was the same a year apart but my first came 2 weeks early so they are 1 year 12 days apart! When I got pregnant with my second I weighed 114 at 5 foot tall. But by the end of my pregnancy I weighed 190 and the doctors never tested me for anything even though I had continued working out and eating right throughout the entire pregnancy! I had an all natural birth bringing a beautiful healthy baby boy into the world and was sent home 2 days after his birth with no high blood pressure or anything! Well 5 days post baby I woke up with such a bad headache that I literally fell over when I tried to get up and walk, the baby's father took him until around 9 when he walked back into the bedroom to check on me and when he turned the light on I stated have a massive seizure, my blood pressure sky rocketed to 220/180 and I was flown to Harris Hospital where they put me in a medically induced coma for 2 days because I wouldn't stop having seizures! The doctors told my family I had to much brain trauma to wake up and not have mental health issues, but instead I woke up with CHF and found out I had post eclampsia! I'm just thankful I had my son before all this happened because he wouldn't have made it otherwise, but I'm wondering if any other moms have had these issues!
