How often do you wash your hair?

I've heard it's bad for your hair to wash it so much (shampoo mostly). My hair is so dry and I've switched to washing it every other day and sometimes I'll skip an extra day if I have dry shampoo. My hair has gotten better, just want to know what you ladies do and how it works for you!

If our hair is dry, switch to not washing everyday with both shampoo and conditioner and do just conditioner with cool water everyday and like every two days wash with both shampoo and conditioner because conditioner helps lay the hairs cuticle flat and put for the day and cold water also helps that process. I have dry hair too so that is what I do in edition to doing a hair mask 2 times a month. You can use your conditioner and just leave it on for 5-20 minutes from mid shaft down.

One time when I had really long hair I went 2 whole weeks without washing it. I know. Sounds disgusting. And it was! But when I did wash it after that it was the most beautiful it ever was!!! Definitely better for your hair not to wash it as often!

I wash my hair once a week. I can't do it more often than that otherwise my hair gets really dry. And I have to switch shampoos every 2 months.

My hair started drying out really bad, (washing it everyday), so I went and got shampoo and conditioner with no sulfates. I still wash my hair every day but every other day I just use conditioner and once a week I put coconut oil in my hair over night and wash it out in the morning and that has done wonders for my hair 😍

It's not good to wash it everyday because it strips the hair of it's natural oils and it produces more so it gets oily quicker and has less natural shine
