introducing baby to your pitbull

so im due in september and have been looking for ways to indroduce the new baby to my pitbull, he is only 2 but very big and gets super exited when new people come, hes like a big baby and is not agressive. the only thing im nervous about is how exited he gets bc sometimes he cant contain himself and he does this hyperactive run with a big smile lol i love him but he can get a little jealous if he cant meet anyone new thats around so i plan on doing it when i get home from the hospital and have him walked to get his energy out a little before and then letting him smell something with the babies scent on it before i bring the baby in so he has a chance to understand... Is there anything else i should plan to do? tips would be nice because i want this to go smoothly 😊 -Please dont bully the breed if you dont agree bc you have something against pits just leave your comment to yourself.
