Baby all of a sudden doesn't like Dad?

My baby girl is 4 months old and for the last week or so whenever her dad holds her, she screams. Sometimes when he even just looks at her or talks to her it sets her off. They normally have a great relationship, but now he can't seem to console her at all and when he tries it just seems to get her worked up even more. But when I take her and do the exact same things to calm her down she calms within a matter of seconds. Similarly she's all smiles with me and then drops the bottom lip when she sees him. I don't know if it's just an age thing or what. She did start a leap around the same time she started being bothered by dad, could that be causing the issue? Is there anybody else who's experienced/experiencing the same thing? What can hubby or I do to get her feeling content with him again? I feel so bad for my husband, he feels like she hates him and I have nothing I can say to make him feel better other than "it's probably just a phase" 🤷🏼‍♀️

My understanding is it's an age thing..or development. Having a 'third' person is what helps them develop the sense of self and that you and baby aren't 'one.' I think as they start to realize this it upsets their balance for a while. My LO has had a slight change with her Daddy as well. But they are getting through it. 
Don't worry about taking her back when she gets too upset about it teaching her to get her way...that's a crazy train of thought for a young baby. She needs to know she can trust you'll be there. Just keep your interactions with Daddy happy so she observes. Anyways, back on track...when she is in a good mood and wanting to play maybe try then? Snuggle her in his lap with her facing a favorite book or toy. If that's too much, maybe you snuggle her, Daddy snuggles you both and reads her a book? It's absolutely nothing personal!! 
I've tried to let mine know if he does something different that she doesn't like...when they aren't with them all day I think they miss those cues sometimes.
Our baby loves having her diaper changed..Daddy often does it and they talk and play during it. He was struggling not having her scream every time he put clothes on her. lol but he was doing it funny with her sitting up, it just wasn't comfortable to her. 
I think a trust builder for Daddy is when baby gets too upset and nothing is working then they give baby to you. My other thought is sometimes you just need to not be there. We set up levels of upset...like if she gets to a 'mach 4' his job is to put baby in my arms. Mach 1 and 2 he tries different things. Walking, rocking, going outside, bottle.

Going through the same thing here! My baby will SCREAM when someone holds her or looks at her too long 😂 My husband does travel a lot for work so he's only home on weekends. Sometimes it takes a while for her to warm up to him. I wish I had some helpful tips but unfortunately I think it's just a phase, the babies prefer their mama. If your baby takes a bottle maybe try letting him feed her, if possible?
