Concepts of modesty?

This morning I checked in on my nurture articles for this day in my pregnancy. There's an article all about baby testicle development which prompts HUNDREDS of ultrasound "potty shots" in the comment section: wall to wall babies' balls, penises, labia, you name it.

#1 If you're a potty shot sharer: why? Does it not register as odd to share photos of your baby's genitalia with strangers on the internet? Is it only different because they aren't born yet?

#2 why do I have a feeling that many of these people are the same ones who freak out when another user posts a pregnancy photo in nude colored underwear ("put some clothes on! I don't use this app to see naked women trying to get attention! Waaaah waaaah waaah") or even a straight up labia picture under a TMI tag because they need advice?? at least it's their own damn labia and not someone else's!
