No, there would probably be just more spousal murder and cheating while staying in an unhappy marriage. I don't think it would make people value marriage more and take it more seriously, there will always be marriages that are not meant to be and people who grow apart etc. Divorce should absolutely not be regulated like that. Marriage and divorce should be taken very seriously but not something someone is "trapped" in.

In my opinion, only because a lot if the younger generation don't believe so much in the vows and when things get rough they take the easy way out. My fiancé luckily is on the same page as me where u believe strongly in my vows and don't believe in divorce unless there is abuse.
