My baby boy is 1 week and 1 day old today and we had our first walk in his stroller in the park today. It was 88 degrees and not windy when we went out (7pm) and still quite sunny. I put a hat on him but it kept falling off so I decided to keep strolling without a hat for the next few minutes since it was so hot but there wasn't any sun shining on him. After a while I just covered his head and ears with a muslin blanket(he was laying on his side). I didn't know you had to put a hat on when it's that hot but my mom called and said I had to.

Now I'm literary freaking out if he's going to be okay???? Do newborns need hats when it's so hot? I'm a terrible mom 😞
