I dont understand

I had a lot of spotting last night after sex. And it wasnt rough trust me on that and i know its wayyyy to early to tell. But the bleeding did scare me. It was like like for a few minutes then went away so i know it wasnt my period that in 6 days away from.... help anyone?..
