I am returning to work after a 4 month parental (maternity) leave... however I only told HR and 1 co-worker (my backup/female) that I was pregnant. I work from home and don't get along with my team nor manager. I work in technology with mostly men (older) who feel women shouldn't work there. I told him( manager) I was going on leave the day after i had my daughter but didnt tell him why. The notice HR sent said Parental Leave... thoughts on what to say when I return to work tomorrow? 🤔😒 fyi, been with the team 1 year and with the company 12 years.
