Would you consider using reusable menstrual products?

I have been researching reusable menstrual products lately. Mostly I've been looking into reusable pads.
I was reading the FAQ on one of the websites that sells reusable pads (gladrags.com) and they were explaining why using reusable pads is not only great for your body but also incredibly helpful to our world. Here's how:
"If you menstruate 340 times in your lifetime, using 20 disposables per period, that amounts to 6800 pads or tampons thrown away. Now consider all the women using disposables in the world. If 500 million women use disposables throughout their lifetime, that's 3.4 trillion pads or tampons thrown away! Not only is landfill space taken up, but these materials cannot be reused and are no longer part of the resources available to us.
Then, of course, there's all that packaging, (wrappers, boxes, applicators) that are also thrown away, all the garbage bags used, all the diesel fuel used to truck those products to the stores week in and week out.  Using GladRags for even a portion of your cycle makes a difference!"
Don't get me wrong, I still use disposable menstrual products regularly, but after reading this I'm going to try to switch over to reusable products. 
What about you? Would you ever consider using reusable pads?

I have kind of a self suffient/ screw consumerism mind set so I am fascinated by reusable options! I plan on trying them when I move out. 
I think it's really awesome that there are options now that allow women to break away from buying a box of tampons/pads every month and having to spend money consistently.

Menstrual cups, seriously. They're inserted like a tampon, about as messy as one, and last six to eight hours before you need to remove it and empty it. It's like 30 bucks and lasts years. I've used one for almost nine years now and honestly, they don't wear out - they're made of surgical silicon and all you need to do is boil them to clean them every once in a while.

No, I'm too much of a germaphobe. I would have a difficult time mentally wrapping that idea around my head not thinking about the old blood that once was there.

I think when  done being pregnant I'll try out the diva cup. Looks interesting.

I use a diva cup and will never go back. It's easy and saves so much money! Granted it's a bit gross to empty at first but once you get used to its awesome!

Ugh, no. I'm all about helping the environment but the reusable stuff grosses me out (diapers, pads, etc). I'd rather get a hybrid, plant a tree or take shorter showers than do that.

I I've reusing products but I could not do this mainly for the fact that I can not stand pads! I become so uncomfortable wallowing in my own filth and I develop a horrible attitude because I feel so gross...but if you can more power to you brave ladies

I love using my diva cup and I just ordered my first pack of reusable pads for after baby comes :) I'm excited to use them!

I have one reusable pad and I prefer it over disposable pads. I have trouble with tampons although the cup sounds interesting. I like the reusable pad because it is so soft. The one I have has organic material on it so no chemicals to worry about either. I'm always a little freaked out about what chemicals are on the disposables. I mostly use it at night because I only have the one but I've never had any problems with leakage. I think the brand I have was the Luna brand you mentioned but I'm not 100% on that.

I said yes but yes to reusable products. Pads,no never. I hate them they're disgusting. But if you like them that's your preference.  I'm trying the cups for the first time this month.
