My husband works in the oilfields and is gone for months at a time, only home for two weeks, so we have to plan his homecoming around my ovulation. I buy those cheap OPK strips off Amazon and they have always worked great! Conceived my son (second pregnancy) the first time we tried them 3 1/2 years ago...Got a new box right before the hubby came home this last time and NEVER got a positive OPK but still had all the symptoms of ovulation. We have been trying for 5 months (this being our second attempt). I've been really consistent up to this point which makes me think the strips I received were defective (as I've read reviews of this happening to people who bought the same strips)...but now my husband has headed back to work as of yesterday and my fertile window (supposedly) closed 2 days ago and I am left here wondering if all that baby dancing actually worked. I'm so stressed and emotional! Just wanted to vent cuz I'm sure my friends and family are sick of hearing about it. Probably the husband too by now! Lol. I'm just an impatient mess and hate the waiting game so much!
