I have PCOS and had VSG (vertical Sleeve gastrectomy) to improve my health and fertility in January 2017. I have lost 70 lbs and just found out today that I'm pregnant! 😊I'm a little concerned about telling my OBGYN and my VSG surgeon, as they both told me to wait until 12-18 months post op to get pregnant. It's a little earlier than we planned (we were going to start trying around December or January), but such a welcomed surprise! I just hope they don't make me feel like I have put myself or my baby at risk. My weight loss has slowed significantly and I am at the stage of losing around 1 lb per week. I take the diet seriously and I do cardio exercises. Has anyone had a similar experience? I would love to hear your outcome!
