anyone used hard wax beans?

Hi ladies!! So I work at the European Wax Center where we use hard wax (no cloth strips needed). I'm not a waxer im just a receptionist! My friend wants to get a brazillian wax but only if i do it for her. Since im not a licenced esthetician I'm not allowed to do it at my work for her. I agreed to do it for at my house on Tuesday, I ordered wax beans, a wax pot, baby powder, and some popsicle sticks. Does anyone have advice on waxing someone for the first time?? Like which direction to lay the wax, which direction to pull it, how to know when it's the right consistency/temperature? Thanks! :)
