Strange period?

Hello ladies! My best friend recently has been ttc and got af Wednesday and normally it lasts 4 days. Today is day 6 and it's wayyy heavier. She said no clots but it's more like pee coming out nonstop. It's a light red but very heavy. She went to the hospital because she was shaking very very badly and cramping very badly in her lower stomach. They did NOT do any blood work only a urine test and then told her it's just stress, what do you ladies think?
