How did y'all know your partner was the one??

My partner and I have been together for a few months now. It was long distance for he first month and now we've been living together for almost 2 months. We are the typical couple, the occasional arguement and everything. But no matter what when I look at him I get this feeling I have never gotten with previous partners. We both feel the same way and want the same things. But when do you know if they are the one?

As soon as we met, and we were inseparable from the start. 10 years and 3 kids later and I love my husband more than words can express. He's everything I ever wanted and everything I never knew I needed.

If you have to ask if he's the one, he's not. It's really that simple. When you find the one, there won't be a question. And he's worth waiting for.

Basically from the moment we started talking I knew. Mind you I was never really interested in dating before her, but there was just a feeling I got when talking to her and it made me so happy.
We found each other through her sister as I had known her through my cousin, and she hooked us up basically. It took us almost a whole year to actually become official, but we eventually went on our first date on December 29th.
Never looked back or regretted it.
Still together after 2 & a half years, living with her and we're happy.

I was with an ex when we got together. We had known each other for about 6 months. We had one kiss once right after we met at my bday party. I know it sounds stupid but our lips matched perfectly. Anyway. It turned out he had a girlfriend. I knew I liked him but he was taken so I moved on with my life and we kept a friendship. He helped me through a miscarriage when the dad left despite his girl being pregnant. Turns out she faked it to get him to move away. He came back I went to his house. He told what had happened with his girl and that they were over. We spent hours together. I didn't realize it at the time. I told my current boyfriend I didn't care what his opinion was I was going to see him and it wasn't a discussion. We ended up hooking up. A few days later he told me he loved me and wanted to be together. It tore me apart to know I was gonna hurt one of these guys but then it hit me.. I was willing to turn one to see the other but I wasn't willing to hurt one. We moved in 2 weeks later and you just knew that was it. That was who. We ended up breaking up for a bit and I got with another guy. I didn't tell him because I didn't want to loose the friendship. I was in a similar situation. My current man didn't like my friendship with him. I reffused to give it up. One night he messaged me and said he was sorry and wanted me back. I rolled over to the guy told him I was sorry but it was over and slept on the couch. I moved my stuff out the next day. We been together 7 years now happily married. My point is when put in situation that question your relationship. If you can't fathem the idea of not being with them or hurting them, when you have an out but can't image taking it. That's how you know.

As soon as I met my husband I knew he was the one for me. He told me he loved me the 2nd date mind you he was drunk but still. We've been together 3 years now. There's no such thing as a perfect relationship. There will be fightings. It's how you handle the fights that matters most. There's days I absolutely want to knock my husband out. But I also love him so freaking much.

I had the cliche "you will just know" feeling. Kissed a lot of frogs to find my prince. Had a lot of "this guy will do" or "I can work on him and make him perfect". But with my husband, I knew within 2 weeks that I would marry him. We've been through a lot since then and we've stayed strong through it all, never wavering. He is my rock and I am his soft place to fall. I still believe "you will just KNOW".
