I've always been career oriented and although I don't regret it, I has lead me to lost special people in my life.
Now I'm focus on love matters, but I'd like to know what's the organic way to find it.

One of my good friends got married, and my boyfriend was the best man. He saw me trip into a pew while walking into the church ceremony because I can't walk well in heels 🙈. I thought he was funny during his best man speech at the reception. He came up and started talking to me on the dance floor, and I could tell he was going to be a special person in my life right away.

Tinder 2 years ago.. I left the university I was at after being sexually assaulted twice and also because of unhealthy friendships and an overall toxic environment.. I moved back home and my parents and brother had just moved to a new city and I knew nobody, so my best friend made me a tinder.. well the app is addicting and I got quite a few matches(I made it girls and guys), but literally no one wanted to be just friends.. like I was talking to this girl and was literally not giving off any flirting vibes and my bio said new to the area, looking for friends and we exchanged snaps and she sent me nudes lol.. I also had my insta connected and a guy DMed me saying I was cute and saw that was new to the city and asked for my number and so I stalked his insta and saw pics of his dogs and family and veggies he grew himself and I was like okay ya I'll talk to him.. I wasn't looking for anything more than a friend, but he was the only one who was respectful and he even talked to me on the phone and calmed me down when I was having a panic attack..( I was having a lot when I left the university and my meds were not helping) and then it just kinda happened after a few times we hung out and ya.. 2 years later, we're still together 😊

Uni a 3 years ago! We're both 21. I hated him with a burning passion and everyone who knew either of us knew it. I don't even remember why honestly, must have been something stupid and trivial...
Anyway we joined the same art class and we became friends. Turns out we got along quite well. We dated other people. Gave each other advice. We became best friends. We'd write each other letters about our favourite artworks and literature, I loved the songs he wrote, he loved my paintings (cringey I know, haha)
A year ago I confessed to him at a friend's party that I was in love with him. And we've been together since.
Soon after, he became very ill and he's been living in and out of hospital for the past 7 months. I'd love to say I'm there with him every day but with uni exams and the distance, I haven't seen him much. We talk on the phone every night but he's usually delirious from his meds. I still write him letters. I hope things will go back to how they were when he recovers. I'm so glad I met him 🌹

I originally met my SO at the end of 2014, through a mutual friend. I was on Christmas holiday and went and stayed with my friend for a few days, I was actually talking to a different guy at the time, one that they were both friends with but him and I did not hit it off too well. So after the guy left she took me over to her best friends house (which was another guy lol) and we sat up in his attic all smoking and talking and the moment I laid my eyes on him I instantly fell in love. He was so charming and funny and was into all the same stuff that I was into, the catch was, he had a girlfriend at the time. So when I went back home after Christmas I started talking to another guys brother that I used to go to school with we dated about 5/6 months and he became very emotionally abusive towards me so I ended up leaving him. Early August I got a message from my friend that I had stayed with over Christmas break, we hadn't really hung out or talked much since then (idk why) but she asked me if I remembered the guy whose house we went over and I told her yeah how could I forget him, we'll come to find out his girlfriend and him had broken up that summer because she was cheating on him, and after they broke up he started to think about me, and talk about me to his friends and how he wanted to get to know me more, I was literally in shock I was so ecstatic. Even though I had just got out of a toxic relationship I still wanted to go and hangout with him more just to see where things would go between us. I went down there in the middle of August before school started and hung out with him and we instantly clicked again. We talked/ hung out with each other for the next month then in October one day when I went to see him it was just us hanging out (usually our other friend was there) and he wrapped his arm around my waist and asked me to be his forever. My heart sank into my gut I didn't think I was emotionally ready to be with someone again but I went with my heart feeling and my heart was still in love and amazed by him since the moment I first met him. Today we have been together for a year and 10 months, and now we are expecting our little baby boy here any day now💙 I knew this boy was the one. My soul just connected with him so easily like I have known him my entire life. We are each other's best friends and can say/do ANYTHING around each other. I've never had anyone love me as much as he does.
