Whooping cough vaccine?

Who should get it? I have a husband, a 4 year old and my brother in law living with us. Baby due in November.

Everyone you live with should most definitely get the vaccine. Also, anyone you plan to have watch baby or anyone around baby regularly.

We made everyone in our immediate family get it if they wanted to visit baby when I was pregnant with my first 2 years ago. And we will keep that enforced with baby #2 as well, if you haven't had the shot or have any signs of a cough at all, no visiting us. There has been a bad "outbreak" in several communities surrounding ours so we won't be taking any chances.

My doctor also recommended anyone who plans on watching the baby or being around frequently should get the vaccination.
