I am AWFUL!!!

I have grown up absolutely loving music! I have been in chior since 6th grade. I haven't been since I graduated 2 years ago though, but was in it till 12th grade, so 6 years. My father told me I was a good singer, but not good enough to make it in music. I said I wanted to be as good as Celine Dion and he laughed at me and told me to keep dreaming that I would NEVER be that good. My choir techer told me that I would never have a career in music. I didn't believe them and wanted to prove them wrong and wanted to go audition for American Idol and stuff. I haven't done it, but I was making plans to and to start a YouTube channel of me signing and I wanted to learn instruments as well. I also need someone to tech me to read music because no one ,not even my chior teaches showed me how to. I know how to tell what note is what, but I can't read it enough to look at it and sing it. Well, I just recorded myself signing a cover and was going to upload it on Facebook and I am SO glad that I haven't gone through with any of these plans and listened to the recording first. I AM ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! They were right, I'll never be able to be that way because I really cannot sing. I can't believe I did solos and stuff in front of crowds and stuff! No wonder I never won anything higher than 6th place. There goes that dream down the toilet. Now I don't know what I want to do with my life.... 😢💔😭
