I am 39+4 and I have been having contractions since 3 o'clock in the morning. They got to where they were five minutes apart but now I just feel a constant tightening and aching in my back. I had a doctors appointment today, and although I have been declining internal exams, I decided to get one today. I'm only 1/2 centimeter dilated and 60% effaced. He said my cervix is soft and thin, but my current disposition isn't really favorable or unfavorable... 🤔 He said it could be days, or it could be sooner. 😩 Anyone had anything similar happen?
