Is it possible to get an evap after only two minutes?

I took a test yesterday morning. A really faint, colorless line showed up after awhile but I eventually concluded that it was just an evap. I took another test this morning and the same line showed up, a bit more noticeable, and only after a couple minutes. Could it still be an evap when it didn't even have time to dry?
