Cramps and boobs hurt

I had my IUD taken out a Lil over a month ago. I had a long period on the 14th. I have been cramping pretty bad for the last 2 days and boobs have been sore for the last 4. Before I had the IUD I was always regular, starting almost after exactly a month had passed. Anyone else had a screwy period after an IUD or are my symptoms normal for this time? It's been a long time since I haven't been on some kind of birth control. My youngest is 6.
