Baby kicks in third trimester?

Question

Are baby's suppose to kick 10 times every 2 hours or just during his active time? And are there times of the day you don't feel the baby at all? I'm trying to get my baby to move and he's not doing it but I don't know if it's the time of day. I drink strawberry milk and if he's not moving by the time my doctor office opens (an hour and a half)  I'm calling

I just make sure I feel activity at different points throughout the day. The baby will be sleeping at times and not all kids are super active. 
This is my fourth pregnancy ( all healthy kids ) and my advice is don't worry unless you haven't felt any movement all day.

typically yes the rule is 10 times every two hours... my perinatologist said to do kick counts when you rest... like stop moving, lay down on your left side for a while and then start kick counts, he said 4 in an hour was fine and I'm extremely high risk.... baby will not move much, if at all, when you are up and moving and they go through cycles just like we do.... sleeping, awake but chill and relaxed/not moving much, and awake and kicking big time.... 
slow down, drink something cold and sweet or eat something... and lay down for a while... if you get no movement at all after 1 hour I would definitely call the hospital.

My son was not very active at all. It had me worrying all the time but dr said as long as there is some movement it's fine! I went in two separate times because I was scared and everything was great! He is almost 2 and making up for the lack of movement now.

My doctor says as long as my baby is kicking 10 times a day that's perfectly normal. My baby girl doesn't always kick. I mean I'm 38+ weeks and I understand that she is running out of room or basically is out of room lol. I would just call and notify them and see what they say.
