Hubby and I are pregnant after 1.5 years TTC with first baby. Last week I went in for my first ultrasound at 6 weeks. The Dr was unable to find a gestational sack and referred me right away to radiology for a possible ectopic pregnancy. Rushed over in fear with my husband and both technician and Dr did two scans in radiology. Luckily, there wasn't an ectopic pregnancy. The Dr. mentioned that he found a sack but there was no fetal pole and it looks like I am 5 weeks instead of 6. We were so relieved leaving this office. Later on I talked to the original referring Dr and he said we won't know anything until another ultrasound next week. (we will be going tomorrow for 2nd US)

He instilled a lot of fear in us and I'm wondering if anybody had any similar experiences? Thank you!
