Wednesday 8/2/17, I was officially 41 weeks and a week past my due date. That morning  I went to my appointment expecting my doctor yo strip my membranes but unfortunately my cervix was too far up and it was extremely firm. She told me that I would be put on the list for induction and because I was overdue , I would go to triage to have stress test done. After a long day, I went home in disappointment and attempted one last time yo bring on labor. The next day, Thursday, 8/3/17, it rained majority of the day and I chose to relaxed and prepare myself for induction the next day. I was so over being pregnant .That night I took a hot shower and shaved my legs and layed down for bed. As I layed there on the couch , I began to cramp . I didn't think anything of it, so I turned on my right side to see if it would stop. After a moment I felt a pop. I jumped up and immediately ran to the bathroom to see what would happen next. After taking a tinkle , lol, i experienced the big splash in the toilet. It was time! Fast forward, when I arrived to the hospital I began to get anxious and by this time my contractions were 3-4 minutes apart. Finally I was sent to labor and delivery and decided to walk to keep things moving . After walking for about 20 minutes I chose to stop walking. When I looked at monitor to see my contractions , the were back yo back . By this time I knew I had dialated past the 2 centimeters that I were when I first arrived.
