Babys birth weight?

I'm at 28 weeks 3 days today and had an appt, they said the baby is measuring around 3lbs. I was just curious if that means I'm going to have a big baby?

I'm 29 weeks and baby measured 3lbs and 8 oz.

I asked at the appt if they thought she was gonna be big then and they said it's too soon to guess. I was 6lbs(ish) and my husband was 7lbs(ish) so I don't think she'll be huge, but just wondering what other moms had experienced

I had a scan at the exact same day as you 28wks 3day and my little boy is also measuring 3lbs.  My first little boy at exactly 28wks was 2lbs 12oz and only weighed 7lbs 7oz at birth so I don't think we'll end up with big babies just average sized ones 😊

I read that at 30 weeks the baby is supposed to gain a half pound per week. But I'm not sure.. I think your baby will be a perfect size!
