10 kicks a day?

Is it true you're suppose to feel 10 kicks a day? My daughter barely moves in my stomach and it worry's me.

I'm 31 weeks and was told to drink water, lay on my left side and count 10 kicks within 2 hours at the same time each day. Preferably when baby is most active.

Some days I feel my baby is very active and then some days I'm having to concentrate just to feel her move. I went to my OB because I didn't feel her move often one day but the moment I got there she started kicking and moving like crazy. If you're unsure and worried pls go see you OB or go to the ER so they can check on baby.

Download a kick counter and do it once a day. You will want a minimum of 10 movements in 2 hours. If your baby isn't moving much, try drinking some OJ and laying on your side. If that still doesn't work, call your doctor.

I was told 6 kicks in 2hrs was the minimum so maybe talk to your doctor since we all seem to have different numbers/recommendations

My midwife said I have to count at least 10 kicks in 12 hours. If I don't, I have to drink some ice cold juice or water and to lay on my left side for 1 1/2 h while focusing on the baby. If no kick occurs, then I have to go to the hospital.

id contact your dr. you might not just be feeling them. I told my Dr about it with my first, he did an ultrasound, baby moved and said you don't feel that? I said no and he laughed at me. he's not my Dr anymore since I switched. he wasn't helpful and didn't explain why, but always ask your dr.

Hospital told me to feel for 3 kicks every hour 🤷🏼‍♀️
