Postpartum sex

I am 5 weeks and 3 days postpartum, I had a natural vaginal delivery with no tearing and my bleeding stopped at 2.5 weeks postpartum. I really want to have sex with my husband! Do you guys think it's okay or should I really wait until my 6 week postpartum visit this week?
