Hello, so I'm 5 months pp with a beautiful baby boy. Once I was cleared for sex by my OB at my 8 week checkup my husband and I tried to have sex in which we failed as it was still too painful. Fast forward a few unsuccessful tries later and today I was scheduled for my annual pap. I ask my dr. about it and she basically brushes it off as mental and that not very many of her patients have true medical issues PP. So she looks and sees that I'm very inflamed and red on the inside, and that I have a hardness by where I guess my stitches were, and a small pocket under my vagina opening. She could not explain why. I'm going to be scheduled for surgery of some sort in a few weeks and I'm a little overwhelmed. Has anyone else had this experience? I'm feeling like a freak over here... 😐
