Vegetarian to Vegan?

(this may sound so stupid. i'm not really sure lol)

so basically, i have a meat allergy, so i try not to eat meat, but sometimes my family (who maybe don't want me to be veggie/vegan?) slip meat in my food or pressure me to eat it. i know that sounds awful or fake or something but i'm not kidding. my mom made a "tofu" meal that i later found out was actually ground beef, after i threw it up.

i'm also partially lactose intolerant (have been for 10 years), as is my sister. i can't drink straight dairy milk, or eat cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, whipped cream etc. without throwing up or my stomach being in stitches for days. but i can drink milk if it's cooked, and i can also eat cream cheese. (that's what confuses me)

i really dislike honey (it makes me gag) and i'm allergic to eggs, as is my mom.

my question is, after this long, probably unnecessary description, how do i tell my family that i want to go vegan? every once in a while, my mom will tell her friends "she's almost vegan. i don't know why" and it really bothers me. (my mother and i don't have a very good relationship anyway). or my dad will stress out about finding restaurants that i "can eat at" (i can eat at just about any restaurant but mcdonalds lol, and i've told him that) and then he gets angry. i'm just really not sure that they'll accept it or me. it's not for the animals. it's for my health. and i need them to understand that.
