Acupuncture -has anyone tried it?

I tried acupuncture yesterday and it was so relaxing! I'm not a fan of needles so was dreading it! Has anyone else experienced it and seen positive effects? TTC for 1year+

Tried it twice. Got pregnant both times. First time was my daughter, second time was a chemical pregnancy. Trying it again this cycle. Fingers crossed!!

I've fine acupuncture for over a year now, I originally started for other reasons then TTC, I think it is amazing... Anything to relax the body is extremely helpful. If u stress to much it puts way to much pressure on ur adrenals and that effects ur whole system ie, thyroid etc...

I first started during my first pregnancy at about 26 weeks as I was stressed at work and I loved it!! Went again in mid 2013 after TTC for 6 or so months with weirdo periods. I think it helped to regulate them a bit and I conceived a couple of months later. Unfortunately I miscarried. Had one session after that but now trying to ration my sessions out in terms of private health rebates ( I'm in Australia). Not sure what it actually does, changes in my body could be a coincidence but it sure is relaxing!! Definitely look for a fertility specialist one as they do extra courses. Apparently a few medical journals recognise the increased rate of success for ivf acupuncture has. Also, my GP encouraged me to go as did a midwife with my first pregnancy. Hope this long essay helps!!?
