Will stress hurt my baby? 26+3

I'm 26+3 and completely heartbroken. I've had a stressful pregnancy already but everything has came to a head and I'm realizing how completely alone I am and the father has completely broken me. Will being stressed hurt my baby?

It won't necessarily "hurt" your baby but long lasting levels of stress have been shown to have an impact on both you and your baby because of the hormones that your body releases. I'm sorry for whatever it is that you're going through, sending you hugs and remember if it gets to be too much to handle to speak to your doctor about it, they may be able to put you on an anti-depressant that is safe to take during pregnancy.

It won't hurt your baby. If stress becomes constant, the effects on you and your baby could be lasting. When you're stressed, your body goes into "fight or flight" mode, sending out a burst of cortisol and other stress hormones. I hope you'll be okay I can imagine its hard when being hurt by your partner xx
