Baby is 4 month old and wants to be carried all the time. What do i do?

My four month old fusses everytime we put her down unless she's sleeping or eating. She likes looking around when carried but I can't keep up. Im trying to freelance from home and it's getting really difficult. Is this a phase? Am I depriving her of a nurturing environment by not carrying her ? Will this become a bad habit later? Please advise!

hold her hold her hold her!! you can't spoil a baby!!! baby's don't need tough love. save that for the toddler years. they need lots of tough love lol.

No it won't become a bad habit. Once she can crawl and walk she's not going g to let you hold her! Just wear her. My second baby loves being worn and really needed the closeness for the first 4 months or so. She's still tiny. Just do want comforts her and she will grow out of it.

Get a baby carrier. At four months they aren't being bratty. They just need you. Don't worry you can't spoil a baby.

Carry her and invest in a good baby carrier to make it easier. All my work colleagues commented on how much I was going to spoil him by constantly carrying him at 3-4 months, and now at 11 months they are surprised how calm and relaxed he is....

You can't spoil a baby of that age. She is letting you know what she needs right now. Baby wearing is definitely a good option to help both of you during the clingy times.

To be fair, I'd say, find a good balance between the two... babies can get spoilt indeed. I worked in a baby room for 3 years  and we had a new baby that was extremely cute but too needy and clingy (to an extreme), the first days of course we spent loads of time carrying her and reassuring her, but then we slowly realised he just naturally wanted to be carried all day long (she was 6 months). I liked the lil girl so much it was hard to not pick her up so I used to try to be around her a lot... I went on a 3 weeks holidays and my colleagues did not bother to carry her as much, when I came back she was literally a different child, independent and playful.. a good balance is always the best

I still carry my 9.5 month old around...these little munchkins grow so fast. It can be hard but try to cherish these moments, its a great time to form a bond of a lifetime.
