After a baby is a year old, do you say she is 1 year and 5 months or 18 months? I personally think it would be better to say by the years already and not one day say my daughter is 32 months . Like that's so weird..

Unless I'm talking to a mother with a similar aged baby I just say "a year". Most people don't give a flying fuck if your baby is 15 months or whatever. Haha

It depends. When they just turned 1, I say a year old for awhile. Then as they are closer to 18 months, I say about a year and half old. & as the 2cd birthday gets closer I say almost 2.

I only use months if I'm talking with another mom because they understand. But I'll always round to the nearest half year if it's just someone asking who doesn't have kids. I've never heard anyone use months past 2 years old

It pisses me off when people are like "he's 24 months" no bitch, he's 2. I say up to 12 months say months, and then at the 18 month mark I'd say 18 months, but besides that just "one" or "almost 2" and then past 2 just the age

My tipping point is 13months. I have 7 nieces and 1 nephew all my sisters kids got me used to "mommy talk". But I max out at 13 months. After that LADY GO BY YEARS!! 😫😫

I get why people do months because babies develop at that point but months. But, I don’t know why, it’s a pet peeve when I hear parents say their babies age in months after a year. Like “my kid is 24 months” no your child is 2. 😂😂

I go by years. Under 1 year I go by months. My best friend goes by weeks.
