Large grade 3 varicocele---I told him so!

So been ttc a year now. Many tests and doc appts lead finally to a semen analysis for him -two of them. Both came back bad. About a 14 mill count . Motility only 11%. Well this got us a referral to a well known fertility urologist-kicker is a three month wait he's so full! So I start doing my research and feeling up my husbands balls. I was certain he had a left sided varicocele. Low and behold our appt was this week and lookie a large grade three left side varicocele! Then he says he always remembers feeling that lump ever since a teen which it starts in puberty. But he never felt a mans balls so obviously he didn't know anything was wrong? His poor left ball is also smaller and showing signs of atrophy from it. The right is very large doc was even impressed-I know hubby liked that. Anyways we do surgery this fall and we hope this is the key to our baby. Doc says motility is always very hindered by these. We also got a ton of blood work done and know those results in a week. Any stories you guys have? I'm just sitting over here with a smirk 😏 on my face. I love being right hahah
