Do you have an "ideal time" to get pregnant?
I've been TTC since March, but for years now I've said it would be ideal to conceive late Summer-Fall so I could have a Spring/Summer baby. I'm a school psychologist, so I get summers off. However, unlike a teacher, I can't just get a substitute if I have open cases while I'm on maternity leave. My cases have a 90 day timeline, which would make things tricky if I took off for 6 weeks.
I'm currently 7 dpo. If I conceived this cycle, I'd have a late April baby (right at 6 weeks before Summer), which would be 3.5 months off with the newborn. That would be important because we have no family nearby. However, i don't get paid maternity leave or personal time and I would only have about 5 weeks of sick time saved up. If I got pregnant the next cycle, it would be close to the very end of the school year and I'd probably only have to take a couple of weeks off!
So basically, I'm feeling pressure to get pregnant now or in the next couple of cycles. BFP would be a blessing anytime though, it would just make things significantly easier for me if it happened soon! Anyone else feeling this way?
