How to take BBT


I am considering starting to chart my BBT, however I'm not sure it will work with me. when I look up to to do it it says to take your temp before you get out of bed after a solid block of sleep. I have narcolepsy (a sleep disorder) so I never have a solid block of sleep. I get up and use the bathroom multiple times a night and I toss and turn and wake up throughout the night. Will all of this movement throw off my temp readings?
