Breech baby. External cephalic version?

So my little one is breech right now. I'm am trying to decide whether to go through with and external cephalic version or wait to see what happens and just plan for a c section. Anyone else dealing with this decision right now? Any one had a version, I'm wondering what your experience.

Just got home from my weekly appt, I'm 35 weeks and 4 days and the little guy is still breech. And has even this way or transverse the entire pregnancy. I'll get another ultrasound next week at 36 weeks 4days and she said we'll talk "options" one being ECV and the other a c section. Neither I'm happy about. From research I'm super nervous and 90% sure I won't be doing a version. My doctor didn't even seem confident about it, which further leads me to believe we're going to avoid it.
I asked her how long will she allow me to wait before I need to make a decision and she said by 38/39. Imma keep doing the spinning baby exercises and etc., and seriously hope for the best. I just really do not want either procedure.

I had a version with my son 5 years ago , he flipped at 36 weeks and was breech and I went in for a version , it was extremely painful and we had no success , had a c section at 39 weeks. Best of luck!

My baby girl is breech and they said if she hasn't turned by my 36 week appointment they will try and turn her and if that doesn't work discuss my options

I'm currently 35w3d and my little girl is breech . I go back to the dr on Tuesday and I'll be 36w1d and they said if she doesn't turn by then we will talk about my options . I've heard horror stories about the version . I've trying everything but she isn't moving and I'm wondering if it's because I'm small and she's running outta room ? I'm terrified to have a c section but giving birth the first time for me was no walk in the park either , I broke my tailbone :/ but either way this little had to come out sooner or later !!

My daughter was breech and we considered ECV but my amniotic fluid was too low. I've had friends who have the ECV though and it worked great for them. I tried chiropractic (Webster technique) and even laid upside down with ice packs on my belly to make her flip. Nothing worked with her (stubborn lil thing).

I did EVC with my last pregnancy. It just so happened we found out baby was breech at 37 Weeks when my doctor was performing another procedure that required an epidural, so I got lucky and had that during the version and it was fine. I hear they can be extremely painful though so definitely talk to your dr about pain options.

My baby has been breech until just a few days ago! I was having Braxton hicks and I could feel her trying to move around in there, but getting stuck in transverse. I tried doing cows cradle and she was finally able to flip! I would definitely try to do a few inversion (they're hard and not fun, but can help), do some yoga moves like cats and cows cradle, try the ice pack at the head and a heating source where the bottom of your uterus, find a chiropractor to do the Webster method. The same day she turned, I told a doula I know that she was hanging out on only one side and she said that was her getting ready to turn. 
If you do choose to get the ECV, ask questions! For some people it can be very painful if the baby isn't ready/there are complications. For others, they hardly feel it.

2 of mine were breech until I was IN labor. I'd avoid ecv at all costs.
