Really confused? Faulty test??

So last night before bed I took a pregnancy test and took one this morning and this is what they look like....could this be a faulty test or just not far enough along???? Tried writing an M for morning and L for last night...help please...

id test again with a different brand hun but the fact that it looks darker is a good sign. good luck.
