For those who did not get an epidural, when and if you guys tore did you feel it?

I had an epidural with my first but it failed. So no relief with two hours of pushing. I had a 2 degree tear and felt nothing, however I did feel it when she stitched me up even after administering a local.

I was lucky i didnt tear with either of my kids my son was a failed epidural it was given too late my daughter i was induced with pitocin but no pain meds

I had the epidural and felt myself rip. it was a very bad rip.. my doctor lost count of how many stitches I had to get.

I had the epidural and when they laid me back down it was time to push. I didn't specifically feel tearing - there was a lot. But definitely felt pain and definitely felt them stitching me up. I think the stitching took longer than the pushing. Lol
