can I return a pair of jeans if they have cat hair on them? Tags are still on them and I have the receipt my cat just got into the bag

I work in retail and it's good that the tags are attached but we can't resell it if there's cat hair all over them. My manager rejects things that reek or smoke for example. I would try a lint roller if I were you

Use a lint roller and clean the cat hair off. If you wash them the tags will get destroyed. Sorry if the person who buys them next has a cat allergy, but I always wash my clothes that I buy before wearing them

Don't wash them!! Most palaces won't take them back if you have washed them. Get a lint roller and get all the hair off, you can get one at the Dollar store if you don't have a lot of money. 
Chances are if you get most of it off they will still accept the return and just send them back to the factory to be thrown away if they think they can't put them back on the shelf. I worked in retail for 3 years and it happened all the time, mostly with items that smell like smoke.
