When do you start counting kicks for twins?

I'm 23 weeks with two boys. Should I be counting kicks now? When did you start? Are there any apps you suggest? Thank you 😊

In my experience, it is actually fairly difficult to count kicks with twins. It's hard to keep track of who's who. I'm 33+0 today, and up until last week I thought I knew exactly which baby was moving, but it turns out that Baby B turned transverse (sideways) over a 2 week period. Previous to that, I assumed every movement on the left side of my stomach was from Baby A, and every movement on the right was from Baby B. It used to be like that, but it isn't like that anymore now that half of Baby B is also on my left side. I was thinking that Baby B was being extremely chill barely moving anymore, and Baby A was going crazy moving all the time. Turns out probably at least half of "Baby A's" movements were actually Baby B's movements. It wouldn't be too difficult to tell who's who as long as the babies aren't turning themselves around from head down to breach to transverse like my boys are.
