Ovulation test as early hpt?

So impatient as I'm only 6dpo but I heard you can take ovulation tests as hpt also? I noticed my lh line is way darker than the control line, thoughts?  I have one pregnancy test I just want to save it but...so impatient.  : )

So as I read this I was curious.  Btw I am 6 weeks pregnant.

I had positive HPTs starting at 9dpo with frer. At 12dpo for fun I took an OPK and the test line was darker than any of my other actual positive opks. Lol. So for me, yes an OPK picked up pregnancy

If this is true then I'm right there w you! I read that sometimes opk's turn positive w early pregnancy & i had 6 days straight of positive opk tests. I'm on cd24 today but my cycles have been so screwy lately that i took a hpt. It was negative but it's prolly too early. Please update if you get a bfp!
