Midwives that don't do ultrasounds?

Does anyone go to midwives for prenatal care and they don't do ultrasounds? Did they give you a referral for the same day to get an ultrasound done upon request? My first appointment is Monday and im excited to see my baby but I've learned that they don't offer ultrasounds at this facility. Can anyone share their experience(s)?

mine referred me to get both the first for dating/check for multiples and the anatomy scan.

Midwives will use a ultrasound facility and yes it would be referrals I went in 20 weeks for anatomy scan and that's the only one I had this time around. They prob won't just do it to see baby or anything like that, but ever midwife is different. U can always ask more questions.

My midwife has a ultrasound tech come in every wednesday but only for the first ultrasound, anything after she sends me to another facility .

In the UK midwives don’t do ultrasounds we have to go to a clinic for 12 week and 20 week scans. Unless there’s a reason for additional scans that’s all you get.

My midwife does not do ultrasounds unless there's a medical reason to. Or she has an OB to refer you to if you really want one. They are unnecessary in most cases
